AlertMe Security enables you to keep a close and guarding eye on your home's security, regardless of your location.

Be the first to know and act if movement is detected or an alarm is activated whilst youre away. Receive immediate alerts via text, phone or email when your homes security is breached.

The security of your home is now as simple as setting your car alarm; simply press a button on your keyfob to arm or disarm AlertMe and protect your home. Forgot to turn on the alarm this morning? Simply log on to your AlertMe dashboard, online or on your mobile, and arm your alarm in a few clicks.

With AlertMe Security you can also do more to deter potential intruders or burglars. By remotely managing lights, detecting movements and alarm sirens, even monitoring temperatures, you can monitor and manage your property. Create custom email, text, or voice alerts to alert you if something happens while you're away from home, or even just to reassure you that your children have reached home safe and sound.

Even in case of a power cut or internet outage your home is safe. AlertMe automatically switches to battery power and GPRS, and then lets you know what's happened so your home is always protected.

Keep an eye on your property with motion sensing cameras which start recording the moment any motion is detected.

Smart Home

AlertMe is online, connecting you with your home and making it easy to monitor and control your energy usage, no matter where you are. The AlertMe dashboard provides you with real-time data, online and on your mobile. Using your existing broadband connection AlertMe enables a two way flow of data which means that your AlertMe system is constantly improving with updates and new features rolled out seamlessly over the air.

Home Area Network

AlertMe is easy to install in your home. We use state of the art technology to make home energy monitoring simple and to make sure it just works, first time.

As a new user you simply plug in your AlertMe hub and it will automatically find all of the other AlertMe devices and seamlessly set to work. In the backgroung AlertMe creates a wireless Home Area Network (HAN), enabling the Meter Reader to communicate with the AlertMe Hub. This operates in the same part of the spectrum as other familiar technologies including Wifi and Bluetooth use, the 2.4 GHz license free band and is optimised to work full with these without interference.

The range of signal is comparable to Wifi, allowing it to easily connect to and work with all of the AlertMe devices in your home. The AlertMe system works as a mesh network with self-healing properties, making it more robust and allowing greater flexibility to find the best route as conditions change, suc as doors being opened or closed, and new accesories are added.

We use the Zigbee standard protocol, 805.15.4, designed for low power, low data speed, robust, mesh networks.

Measuring Electricity

The Meter Reader takes seconds to install, simply clip the meter reader around one of the wires attached to your home's electricity meter and it will begin sensing the electric current flowing through the wire as a tiny voltage. The Meter Reader converts this into a power reading once a second where it is transmitted by radio to the hub, which delivers the data to the AlerMe services securely online.

AlertMe readings are very accurate, with the flow of current typically measured to within a 1% error margin. However as the voltage in UAE houses can vary from 220-245V, representing over a 10% error margin, this can cause a small variation between AlertMe readings and meter readings.

Energy Efficient

The AlertMe system uses low power and is very energy efficient. AlertMe sensors enter a deep sleep when not in use, conserving energy usage until awakened, while asleep they use about 1 micro-amp (that's one millionth of an amp) of energy, which means a tiny battery can last of a year.

To put this in perspective, if 300,000 UK households had one AlertMe sensor, it would use the same amount of energy as one lightbulb. The AlertMe Energy hub uses less than one watt of energy, which means that 100 nano hubs use the same amout of energy as one lightbulb.

Security & Privacy

At AlertMe your data and your security are of utmost importance to us. We use the highest security and encryption standards to protect your privacy and keep your home's data safe. The hub is protected by full use of public / private keys and certificates. Energy data is encrypted throughout the AlertMe system, our radios use AES128 bit encryption and SSL encryption is employed when transmitting data over the internet. In addition all of your system data is backed up in a former nuclear bunker. You can't get more secure than that.
